Had a 7 week stay while in between houses.Very nice and clean with a private entrance.Would definitely stay again if need be.Other than providing an actual stove, it was fully furnished for a comfortable stay. Also it was within walking distance to grocery and convenience stores.
Great place to stay especially if you enjoy peace and privacy. I have been raising my girls here safely and happily for over a year now and wouldn’t want to be anywhere else in Delaware. It’s a great little community feel and the amenities including the marvelous garden are just more than I could ask for. The owners Jim and Nan and the manager Brian are just so nice and accommodating. You really couldn’t ask for a better place to be, location is right near everything while being private enough to feel like you’re far away. Love this place and hope to be here for as long as i’m blessed to be.
Excellent & worth everything! This is a beautifully establishment. It is family owned and run I believe too. Upon arrival, you get a tour of your suite, exterior property, and demonstration of how a few amenities work, and if time a story about the how it came to be lol. There's secure parking, offered daily room service with mini bar replenishment. I must say this made it seem like I'm staying with family, simply outstanding Jim, I'll be returning!
This is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are amazing and the garden is incredible. I've stayed in nice hotels all over the world, but the Dover Garden Suites is hands down the best. I like it so much I'm thinking of coming back just so I can stay here again. I can't imagine why anyone would rate this hotel poorly, and Jim and Nan are EXTREMELY nice. I have a sneaking suspicion that the two bad reviewers are some of "those" people. You know the ones. Take my advice and stay here. I can't say enough good things about it.
After my second visit to the hotel, even with my limited free time, I felt the obligation to comment my amazing thoughts about the Dover Garden Suites. The wonderful Thai decor, extremely spacious suites and their helpful staff are examples for a better stay. Everything perfect. Since the entry by private patio up to the relaxing moments in the jacuzzi. Excellent choice to keep your privacy. I'll be back before the end of the year to enjoy the comfort of its dependencies.
